The LaSalle State Bank

This beautiful 1920s former bank building is located in the heart of South Bend’s East Race Historical District, and has been adapted to house our growing architectural practice. Exterior alterations included significant façade restoration to reestablish its relationship to the street and its place within the context of the neighborhood, as well as new, period-sensitive exterior lighting.

Additionally, considerable renovation and restoration work was completed on the interior of the building, including extensive renewal of all original plaster detailing, refurbishment of the original terrazzo floors, new skylights to maximize the use of natural light, and entirely new mechanical systems.
